Session SurveyThe user in “user experience” doesn’t always speak English — and in many cases, a majority of people might be using our products in another language. When we develop the skills to write and design for people of different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, we expand the scope of users we care about. In this talk, I’ll discuss best practices we can apply as UX writers, designers, and researchers as we create experiences for people not just around the world, but also in our own communities. Each of us has the power to write and design for linguistic inclusivity and ensure that no matter a person’s background, they have a high-quality experience and equal access to our products and services.
