The design of GPS navigation applications affects our sense of direction and ability to
establish emotional connections to new places. The mass adoption of GPS-enabled mobile devices has fundamentally changed the way we interact with our environments. As the technology advances, it is important to reflect on the benefits, limitations, and consequences of the experience of navigation
assistance.
