Loi Sessions Goulet leads User Research at Buoy Health. Before that, she was the Research Director at Tripadvisor, establishing the research function as a team of one before building out a team of researchers across the organization.  Prior to Tripadvisor, she was an early member of the Research team at Facebook. Loi holds a PhD in Communication from the University of Pennsylvania, and B.A. in Sociology from Tufts University. Her research on new media and society appears in peer-reviewed journals, and she has taught courses on this subject at UC Berkeley and the University of Pennsylvania.
